It is Day 8 of the challenge. How are you doing? You may begin to experience a dip in energy regarding the challenge of changing or creating a habit. Remember to pick it up if you miss a day. Pick it up where you left off rather than skipping days. It is critical that you notice any judgments that you make towards yourself or others and that you forgive. Forgive and keep going.
Today, we focus inwardly to tap into our internal knowledge and our subconscious mind for what is to come next.
Day 8
Step 1
First, let’s think about the area that we have decided to focus on. We want to focus on creating the highest good for ourselves. John-Roger says that we “ask for the highest good as [we] attune inwardly to [our] High Self.”
Don’t let the term “High Self” confuse you. Use your own belief system about a higher power to guide you. Own the process for yourself. The key is to focus on the “highest good” and how YOU can achieve that.
Step 2
As we focus internally, we want to “be sensitive to words, images, [sounds, feelings, textures] or your own intuition that you may receive.”
We want to take note of what we become aware of and review those notes before going to sleep. Keep “in mind the highest good of all concerned [and] ask that you be given guidance towards” improving the area or habit you are working on in ways that make sense and that we can act on.
We want to tap the power of our subconscious mind during sleep to bring us information, ideas, clues that can help us achieve our intention in the area we are seeking to improve.
Step 3
Finally, John-Roger instructs us to take “some time to forgive yourself for any judgments that you have placed on yourself, on others, on the world, on God, etc.” He recommends that we verbalize this forgiveness if possible.
